Simply Walk Around It Level 2 – Tight Gap

Level 2 is where most players stall. The kill brick sits inside walls with a gap barely wider than your avatar. Walking through looks simple until leg animation kills you repeatedly.

Why Level 2 filters players

The gap is approximately one stud wide — enough for your character if perfectly aligned, but unforgiving of leg swing. Simply Walk Around It win rates drop sharply after Level 1 because this stage demands wall hugging: pressing against the side wall while moving forward to slide through without lateral leg motion.

Electracy's official video explains that you cannot slowly walk past or wiggle through. You need to lock into a forward motion state where your legs do not rotate into the kill brick. That lock comes from camera angle plus consistent W input.

Execution steps

Approach the entrance wall and stop completely. On PC, tap comma or period until your view hugs the wall beside the gap. Your character should face into the gap with shoulders parallel to the side wall.

Hold W without pressing A or D. If you die, note whether your death was instant (angle wrong) or mid-gap (leg swing). Instant deaths need more alignment work. Mid-gap deaths may need slower W or a slightly rotated camera after comma or period.

Some successful runs show a tiny camera nudge after auto-align — not a full ninety-degree turn, but a few degrees off perpendicular. Experiment within small increments.

Practice drills

Reset Level 2 ten times focusing only on alignment without entering the gap. Learn what comma versus period does on your keyboard layout. Then attempt full passes.

Watch our Level 2 Guide with embedded video and compare your camera to the creator's angle frame by frame. Matching sightlines beats copying movement timing blindly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I die instantly in the Level 2 gap?
Your entry angle likely points your legs into the kill brick.
Do comma and period always work?
They help align but may need manual fine-tuning after auto-align.
Can a fat avatar pass Level 2?
Wide avatar packages increase leg collision risk. Slimmer avatars help.
Is strafing allowed in the gap?
Avoid A and D inside the gap — strafing triggers leg collision.
How hard is Level 2 compared to Level 3?
Level 2 kills more players due to alignment learning curve; Level 3 is harder but affects fewer who never pass Level 2.
